Terms & Conditions
The terms that apply to this website, and how they relate to the separate agreement that governs any work we do for you.
Last updated: 23 July 2026
These terms cover the website, not your project
Any work we carry out for you is governed by a separate written agreement, which sets out scope, price, timelines, ownership and liability for that specific engagement. Where that agreement and these terms conflict, the agreement takes precedence.
1. About these terms
These terms apply to your use of lumenaiconsultancy.com and to any enquiry you submit through it. By using the site, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Lumenai, a software and AI consultancy based in Doha, Qatar. "You" refers to anyone using this website.
2. Using this website
You may view, read and share our content for your own business or personal purposes. You agree not to:
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that could damage, disable or impair it
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, its servers, or any connected system
- Use automated tools to scrape, harvest or systematically extract content, except for legitimate search engine indexing
- Submit false information, or submit enquiries on behalf of someone who has not asked you to
- Introduce malicious code, or use the contact form to transmit spam or unsolicited commercial material
We may restrict or withdraw access to the site, in whole or in part, without notice.
3. Enquiries and quotations
Submitting the contact form does not create a contract between us. It is a request for information or a quote.
Where we issue a quotation:
- It is based on the scope described at the time and on information you have given us
- It remains valid for the period stated in it, or for 30 days if no period is stated
- It becomes binding only when both parties sign a written agreement
- If the scope changes after a quote is issued, we will quote the change before carrying it out
We may decline to quote, or decline to take on a project, without giving reasons.
4. Content on this site
We publish material about software development, automation, AI, search, regulation and business operations in Qatar and the GCC. That content is provided for general information.
Some of it touches on legal and regulatory matters, including data protection, employment localisation, financial regulation, taxation and licensing. None of it is legal, financial, tax or regulatory advice. Regulations change, they apply differently depending on your sector, structure and headcount, and you should obtain qualified professional advice on your own situation before acting.
Pricing ranges, timelines, benchmarks and statistics on this site are indicative and were accurate to the best of our knowledge at the time of writing. Third party pricing, platform behaviour and published research all change. Nothing on this site constitutes an offer capable of acceptance.
We take care to keep content accurate but do not warrant that it is complete, current or error free.
5. Intellectual property
The content, design, layout, code and graphics on this website belong to us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property law.
You may quote short extracts with clear attribution and a link back. You may not republish substantial portions, reproduce the site's design, or present our content as your own.
Product names, platform names and trade marks referenced on this site belong to their respective owners. Their appearance here is descriptive and does not imply endorsement, partnership or affiliation unless we say so explicitly.
6. Ownership of work we deliver
This is set out in full in your project agreement, but our standard position is stated on this site and we intend to honour it:
- On completion and full payment, the code repository, documentation and data for your project transfer to you
- We build on mainstream, widely supported technologies so that another competent developer can continue the work
- We retain rights to our own generic tooling, libraries, internal frameworks and know-how developed before or independently of your project
- Third party software, open source components and platform subscriptions remain subject to their own licences
7. Third party links and services
This site links to third party websites and references third party platforms. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability, pricing, terms or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.
The site also loads fonts and styling resources from third party providers. Their use is described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The site may be unavailable during maintenance, or for reasons outside our control. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it at any time.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law:
- This website and its content are provided on an "as is" basis, without warranties of any kind
- We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, information published on this site
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, revenue, data, business or anticipated savings
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Liability in respect of project work is dealt with separately in the relevant project agreement.
10. Privacy
How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. By submitting an enquiry you confirm that any personal data you provide about other people has been provided lawfully and that they are aware of it.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last revised. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms. Changes do not affect any agreement already signed between us.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, and the courts of Qatar have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, unless a separate written agreement between us provides otherwise.

Something here unclear?
Ask us before you sign anything. We would rather answer the question now than have it surface halfway through a project.
